All Bridges mentors must be screened, trained and accepted into the program before being matched with a youth.  The following outlines the screening and training process.  Below the description is a form to request a Volunteer Mentor Application.

• Submit a Volunteer Mentor Application

• Complete the mentor screening form and authorize Bridges to complete State, Child Abuse Registry, and Sex Offender Registry background checks

• Provide 3 personal references

• Complete an in person interview and home visit with Bridges staff

• Complete a 2 hour mentor training session

• Sign a Volunteer Agreement and Mentor Code of Ethics
